hawkwatcher007It appears the reason I stopped using DW years ago was because it is hard to update off of my phone or tablet. As long as I keep my laptop plugged in though it works, which is all I can really ask of something getting close to a decade old.

Book title:Seraphina by Rachel Hartman
I really enjoyed this book and it's creative take on dragons. The way music plays such an important part was unique. The sort of mind garden the main character uses is quite interesting. However, I have heard the sequel is awful. Since I don't want to be disappointed, I will wait on reading it.
Book Title: The Way of Kings Book one of the Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson
So this book was another rec from my son. I got about halfway through with it and had to return it to the library with no option for renewal since there was a hold on it. It's been a little confusing and a little rough going, but also, it does sort of pull my interest. I decided to order the paperback version of the first three books in the series (there are 4 so far meant of 10, but I've been burned on that before!!). Unfortunately, I had to buy them new as I couldn't find them used. I don't have a headcast for the characters yet and am not sure who I should get attached to. It seems to happen to me when I start a loooooong series.
